I got hooked on massage 22 years ago after my first session when I realized how deeply healing it was. I decided to dedicate my life to massage, earning my license in 2000, and have been practicing ever since.  I am board certified by the NCBTMB and I am a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association. I also have additional certifications in Orthopedic Massage and in Clinical Rehabilitative Massage. Some of my favorite modalities to practice are Orthopedic, Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue and Neuromuscular Therapy. During the intake and at the start of each session, I like to perform in-depth assessments so I can personalize the care I provide. My goal is to select the most appropriate and effective techniques that align with the unique needs and lifestyles of each one of my clients. Every body is different and everyone has different objectives when they receive massage, whether that is pain reduction, injury prevention/recovery or management of a chronic condition. I see my role as a facilitator, not a fixer, and want to assist you in reaching your optimal health.   A bit about me; I own a little house in the woods of Historic Bethabara with my husband. We are very happy to have finally settled down in Winston-Salem after years of traveling for his military service. I enjoy spending time with my family and doing anything that is outdoors, from hiking in the mountains to reading a book on the beach.  I look forward to working with you!

Focused on the 2 areas of concern.... knee ( post surgery) ligaments and neck ( whiplash). I have felt soo much better today!!! I am hopeful continued attention to right knee issues through massage, icing and stretching will ease my pain.

Bonnie makes every minute count. She works hard to meet all of my needs. She talks me through what is causing my discomfort and what she is doing to relieve it. I am amazed at how well she knows even the deepest parts of the human body. Thanks Bonnie for all you have done to help me feel better.
