Selfcare isn't selfish

As a lifelong athlete, I had challenged my body in everything from yoga to Tae Kwon Do. And I understand the value of strength and endurance, and have suffered my own sports injuries on my way to becoming a massage therapist.

As a lifelong athlete, I had challenged my body in everything from yoga to Tae Kwon Do. And I understand the value of strength and endurance, and have suffered my own sports injuries on my way to becoming a massage therapist.

In 2016, I graduated from Cortiva Institute of Massage Therapy as a Licensed Massage Therapist. Driven by my unyielding belief in the healing power of touch, I have grown my massage practice with a passion for delivering comfort, relaxation and results to my clients. With anything from a relaxing massage, to scar tissue release or a sports recovery massage, I excel at delivering the individualized care that each of my clients needs.

I continue to study therapeutic techniques so that I can provide more than a standard massage. To that end, each session begins with a personalized discussion to discern the client’s physical or emotional needs in order to tailor the massage and release any stress, discomfort, or pain. Rather than a list of services provided--(i.e.Swedish or Deep Tissue), I understand the different techniques from each of those modalities that need to be incorporated into each massage.

When not in the massage room, I enjoy hiking, biking, running, traveling, or creating adventures and exploring with my two daughters.

Experience
Yoga

Hatha

Obtained my 200 HR Yoga Teaching Certificate in June 2014 from Jen Ryan at The Yoga Loft. My certification is supported by the Yoga Alliance. I have learned the importance of making time for yourself and what the study and practice of yoga can do to your mind and body. I enjoy practicing all styles of Yoga, but Ashtanga, Yin, and Restorative are my favorites! I happily substitute teach when my schedule allows!

Fitness

Bootcamp Instructor

After winning an Under Armour Competition to redefine the female athlete, I wanted to share my love of fitness and began teaching a weekly bootcamp class. I developed a new workout for each week, challenging the participants mentally and physically.
