Lisa A. Noto M.S. L.Ac. is a licensed acupuncturist in NC & PA and a Diplomat of the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Ms. Noto is a graduate of Tri-State College of Acupuncture, NYC, with a Masters degree in Acupuncture. Lisa has studied with such notable acupuncturists as Kiiko Matsumoto, Dr. Mark Seem, and Jeffrey Yuen. Lisa practices three styles of acupuncture including: Traditional Chinese Medicine,which involves diagnosis of the quality of the pulse and health of the tongue. Japanese Acupuncture, which involves the clearing of pain and dysfunction through palpation of the Hara and American Physical Medicine. This style of acupuncture involves the release of trigger points that are the cause of structural dysfunction. Lisa is also certified in Facial Rejuvenation using acupuncture and acupressure methods. She is also a practicing Certified Shiatsu practitioner for 22 years. Before moving to North Carolina, Lisa ran a successful private acupuncture practice in Pennsylvania for 12 years. She participated in a community acupuncture clinic setting, and also spent time speaking and educating the community in Acupuncture and Alternative Medicine in the Scranton, PA area. The acupuncture treatments offered are one on one personalized attention to each client. Treatment style varies according to an individuals’ needs and constitution. The sessions are done in a quiet, private setting.
