Claudia Summers, LMBT 8796 has worked in Early Intervention for approximately14 years. During that time she became very interested in the effects that tonicity and injury have on the body and thus began her journey into Massage Therapy. She attended Natural Touch School of Massage Therapy in 2007, obtained her National Certification and North Carolina Licensure in 2009 and began her private practice in Massage Therapy in Morganton, NC.  Claudia began teaching Massage Therapy in 2011, and taught for Maiden School of Massage & Caldwell Community College. She has continued to work closely with children during her practice.  She provides pediatric massage to children to aid in attention, sensory input, and to decrease hyper-tonic muscles due to lifelong conditions such as cerebral palsy and traumatic injury. She specializes in Pediatric Massage, Medi-Cupping Therapy and Deep Tissue Massage, providing these modalities of massage therapy to assist the body in healing and relaxation.
