Hi! My name is Amy Brines and I am a Licensed Massage Therapist with 7 years experience in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial, Trigger Point, Lymphatic Drainage and Shiatsu massage techniques. I graduated from the New School of Massage, Bodywork and Healing in downtown Chicago in 2011.

I love what I do. Through massage, I get to assist clients in feeling better, moving better and living better. Whether it be helping a client manage chronic pain, recover from injury or relax from a stressful day. I thrive on helping people. And with more than 5,000 hours of massage under my belt, my clients agree.

Massage also is a second career for me. I graduated from Ball State University in 1993 with a degree in journalism. I spent 15 years working in the media field in TV and newspapers as a reporter, graphic designer and web producer. And while these two careers may not seem to have commonalities; they both depend very much on communication and listening.

And I believe the key to an amazing massage is open communication between client and therapist. What are your goals in a session? What are you looking to improve through massage? How can I help you achieve the outcome you are looking for? In my sessions, clients are listened to and heard. There is no cookie cutter massage for clients. I pride myself on gearing each session to each client based on their needs.

REVIEWS for my Bodywork services

I have been seeing Amy for more than a year now and can't say enough good things. I started seeing her 2x per month as I was struggling with neck pain. After trying several therapists, I met Amy and have never gone elsewhere. In addition to being a wonderful person highly focused on my situation and therapeutic needs, she's extremely talented. Can't say enough good things.

Amy is a fantastic therapist and I always look forward to seeing her. She is knowledgeable and listens to what you want & need in the session and then delivers.
