Tricia offers her caring heart, amazing listening skills, real-life experiences and authentic self to help those who cross her path. Tricia is a  professional mental health counselor with clinical interests in addiction/alcoholism, mental health, trauma, life transitions, self-esteem and issues unique to the LGBTQ population.  She strives to create a safe space for others to feel heard, understood and accepted. She believes people can discover many new things about themselves, including ways to re-shape their lives to achieve their most value-centered life. Tricia uses Trauma-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) AND holistic approaches including Reiki and Yoga to meet the unique needs of each client. Tricia earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Smith College in Northampton.  She is Reiki Level Two Certified and is a yoga teacher.  She is currently pursuing her Thai Bodywork Therapy & Yoga Therapy Certifications.  Her experience includes individual counseling in addiction treatment,  jail, and psychiatric hospital settings.
