A life of servitude is a blessing!

I am a Wichita native and have lived here my entire life. I attended Northwest High School and upon graduation I anxiously entered the workforce. After working in the manufacturing industry for many years, I decided to pursue my lifelong interest in alternative healing. In 2004, I enrolled in college to train for massage therapy while working a full time job at a custom millworks. I graduated in two years and was immediately hired by Platinum Salon & Spa where I worked for almost seven years, until they went out of business. Thanks to all of my loyal clients, I was able to open my own massage business, Touch of Tranquility, which is where I’m at today.

My massage training began with a 653 contact hour massage certification from Butler Community College in 2006. As a certified member of abmp (Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals), a professional organization that ensures training and education, I am committed to sixteen hours of continuing education every two years. My clients can rest assured that my education is ongoing and new therapies will continually be implemented into treatment sessions to provide the best care possible. In addition to training, I have also volunteered my massage services at the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure and the local Extreme Home Makeover. In most instances, I am happy to make service donations to charitable organizations that are important to my clients.  Just ask me!

My own personal history with cervical bone spurs, a torn Achilles tendon, plantar fasciitis and lumbar lordidis, helps me uniquely identify with the physical, mental and emotional needs of my clients. I strive to listen closely and compassionately to each client to create the best session possible.

In addition to massage, I also incorporate essential oils into my therapy sessions to promote optimal health. I am an independent product consultant for doTERRA essential oils and am very passionate about health with natural health products. I offer classes, both groups and one-on-one, to educate clients on the use of essential oils in their everyday lives.
