One of the immediate benefits of massage is a feeling of deep relaxation and calm. This occurs because massage prompts the release of endorphins – the brain chemicals (neurotransmitters) that produce feelings of wellbeing.

Internship and Course work

I completed an internship with Lacy Rinehart of MMMassage in Torrington, Wyoming. November 21, 2018 I had my first official client. I have been working on an average of 10 clients per week as a part time position since then. I have taught anatomy and physiology for Eastern Wyoming College for 10 years, both college courses for nursing school students and others interested in the courses and for concurrent high school credit. This teaching has lead me to a desire to work with people as a massage therapist, understanding muscles, bones, joints, circulation and lymph. I have 565 hours of training from USCI and am now teaching anatomy and physiology for their courses as well.
