Hello, my name is Donald R. Lozon. I’ve been in practice for almost 10 years. I have worked in clinics with physicians, chiropractors, physical therapists, massage therapists and nurse practitioners since I’ve been in practice. I had my own successful Medical Massage practice in San Antonio, TX for the last 3 years. I studied at the Arizona School of Massage Therapy. I thought I knew everything there was to know about massage until I became a student of Dr. Ross Turchaninov, M.D. at the Science of Massage Institute in 2013. Dr. Ross teaches the true Medical Massage Concept developed by physicians along with hundreds of resources from M.Ds and PhDs all around the Globe. It has become my main goal to help my clients with pain and help them become their best self by enhancing their quality of life. Dr Ross’s teachings consist of Somatic (muscle) and Visceral (internal organ) pathology and how to conduct proper assessment and medical massage protocol of each pathology. Pathology (established diagnosis by your physician) protocols consist of headache, CervicoCranialgia, Greater Occipital Nerve Neuralgia, Vertebral Artery Syndrome, Anterior Scalene Muscle Syndrome, levator Muscle Syndrome, Cervical Radiculopathy. Thoracic Pathologies consist of Thoracicalgia, Intercostal Nerve Neuralgia, Pectoralis Major/Minor syndrome, False Cardialgia Syndrome. Lumbar pathologies include Lumbar Radiculopathy, Lumbago, Iliopsoas Muscle Syndrome, Sciatic Nerve Neuralgia. Also includes disorders of the CNS as well as Trauma and Chronic Disorders of the Musculoskeletal system. I can assess, however, the diagnoses must already be established by your physician. The more I know about your condition, the better. However, since I utilize the science of massage and its application, I also do stress reduction massage. This is also known as a Swedish relaxation or Swedish deep tissue, as I like to call it. I still use the benefits of Medical Massage technique so you can experience the amazing healing effect on the body through general relaxation. I look forward to building a therapeutic relationship with you! Also, thank you for taking the time to read my Biography. Hope to see you soon.

Professional Massage Therapy Course
I started out in 2011 working as a massage therapist at Lavida Med Spa and i was on the Marketing team with AFC Physical Medicine in Arizona. I was honored to be the lead therapist at San Tan Valley, AZ. I received an Achievement Award by Dr. Ryan Sculley during my employment with AFC which was incredibly honorable. I furthered my Education by attending Dr. Ross Turchaninov M.Ds course in 2013 from the Science of Massage Institute where I really was able to utilize amazing protocols for pathological conditions. I remained at both locations until we moved to Texas in January of 2015. I worked at Franklin Chiropractic and Accident Care and opened up my own practice after a couple years residing in Texas. I had a successful practice however; My wife Angie was given an amazing opportunity to work here in Salt Lake City, Utah. My wife grew up in Utah and we are so happy to be close to family! I look forward to growing a practice, starting a new adventure and meet new people. I love to build therapeutic relationships with my clients and help them reach their goals of a pain free and just a better quality of life through the amazing experience of massage.
