I am a highly skilled massage therapist with over 31 years of experience working in spas, clinics, chiropractic settings and in private practice. My work is an eclectic blend of therapies aimed at establishing a working balance between the muscular, fascial, skeletal and nervous systems of the body. What you can expect from the work is a body that is freer in its movements, is looser, has greater postural balance, increased range of motion and is freed from chronic restrictive and painful patterns.


I received my initial massage training from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in Newington, Connecticut in 1991. I studied Cranio-Sacral Therapy through the Upledger Institute and am a Certified Level IV Myoskeletal Alignment Therapist from the Freedom from Pain Institute. I have completed further studies in Thai Massage, Myofascial Release, Acupressure and Orthopedic Massage Approaches.

Typical sessions last from one to two hours with the client wearing loose comfortable clothing. No oils or creams are used. Sessions progress quickly as trigger points and painful patterns are deliberately and systematically identified and released. If your pain is myofascial in nature then this work can be of great benefit to you.

I was hoping this visit would help my sciatica issue. While Christian was working on me, I felt very relaxed and content. After he finished and I sat up my pain was worse than when I walked in. He said some patients are in pain 1 to 2 days afterwards, I was not expecting that. 5 days later Some of my pain/discomfort is gone, but not all and some pain seems to have moved to different area in my lower back.
