Structural Bodyworker and Massage Therapist

After spending the last 20 years in the Special Education field, I knew that my next career path would have to be one that was equally rewarding.  When I found Kyle Wright's school in Fairview - The NC School of Advanced Bodywork - I knew that I had found where I was supposed to be.  Not only did I learn how to help people relax (which is something we all need more of !!) , but I also learned how to structurally bring the body back into balance.

What does this mean?  Well, it means that our bodies work best when our muscles sit on top of our bones and are not being pulled in one direction or another.  Poor posture, sitting at a desk or in a car for too long, sleeping on too many pillows, lifting with poor body mechanics, exercising, and participating in sports of all kinds are examples of how our bodies can get out of balance.   Many of the aches and pains we have learned to accept as "normal" for our bodies can be  reduced or even eliminated when we are structurally balanced.

Structural Bodywork has been known to help with migraines, neck and shoulder pain, carpal tunnel, back pain, sciatica, and plantar fasciitis - just to name a few ;-)    Call 828-551-9939 for an appointment.
