Lymphatic Drainage Specialist & Licensed Massage Therapist.

Joanna has practiced bodywork since 2013.  As an experienced massage therapist and a certified Lymphedema therapist. She has encountered numerous conditions where Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) has been extremely beneficial to her clients.

Joanna is certified by Norton School of Lymphatic Training,  practicing the Vodder technique.  She is passionate about her Oncology and Lymphatic studies and continues to take hands on continuing education classes every year to stay current with the latest lymphatic research and techniques.

MLD is a proven technique, developed in the early 1930s in Europe by Dr. Emil Vodder, and is practiced extensively in clinics and treatment centers throughout Europe and the United States. Only certified MLD Therapists are qualified to perform this work, as this specialty requires extensive and advanced training in the medical field.

Joanna has worked with plastic surgeons, clinicians, and acupuncturists,  Joanna has been able to improve patients' surgery outcomes through pre-and post-surgical care through gentle lymphatic treatments.

MLD is a gentle massage technique which prevents and reduces fluid retention (edema), enhances the removal of toxins and cellular debris from body tissues, has an analgesic (pain relieving) effect by causing the natural release of endorphins, supports the immune system, promotes wellness, and reduces stress.

It is extremely beneficial after Cosmetic and Orthopedic surgery, as well as for clients who suffer from any lymphatic disorders or have had cancer treatments or complications from lymph node removal.  

Joanna is a member of the National Lymphedema Network (NLN) and Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals.  She is dual licensed in both Texas and Washington state.
