AMTA-MA Chapter Meritorious Award

This award, which honors an individual by acknowledging diligence in volunteerism accomplished in an altruistic manner, is the highest award bestowed upon an American Massage Therapy Association member by a chapter. It was an highlight of my career to receive this from my Massachusetts colleges in 2019.

Pan Mass Challenge - Crew Leader

The PMC is an annual bike-a-thon across Massachusetts to benefit the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and Massage Therapy plays an integral role in the event. Our crew of over 150 therapists helps over 3000 riders recover by providing them with 15-minute sports massages after cycling to the MA Maritime Academy. It's an incredible sports massage feat to provide massages to this many people in under eight hours on the first Saturday of August every summer!
