Raffi is a solution-oriented, forward-looking Bodyworker. Since licensing in muscular therapy 2009, he’s continued to certify in a witch's brew of orthopedics, myoskeletal alignment, functional fitness, and many other advanced neuromuscular therapies. He believes that having a good laugh and a balanced diaphragm are two big secrets to staying young, and an efficient mover, as well as being a super human being. He has a strong movement background in hitting the trails, CrossFit, yoga, martial arts, and skateboarding, which have taught him both the benefits and challenges of certain activities. Nature has taken its course and led him to supplement more specific functional movement training, or neuromuscular re-education into his life as a means for maintaining balance and mongoose like reflexes. He also has adapted the extensive training he’s had with the Postural Restoration Institute® (PRI) into his practice, which aids him in his holistic approach and assessments. Work is a type of worship for him and he practices what he preaches. Raffi consistently loves learning advances in the field of Bodywork and Movement Therapies, while he passionately aims to remain current with the needs of his clients. |
In addition to running their private practices for over 10 years, Heidi and Raffi enjoyed doing sports massage for the Harvard Women's Swimming and Diving team for 8 years. When not working with clients, Raffi and Heidi can be found exploring the great outdoors or adoring their fur babies and backyard chickens. |
