Tuina ( Chinese Manual Therapy )

September, 2015 I successfully completed a two week Tuina training program through the Training Center of China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences in. This program involved daily clinic training that included traditional Chinese medicine theory and hand techniques and protocols. This was followed by daily hands on training with the doctors and patients at the China-Japan Friendship Hospital. Tuina is excellent for injury prevention and expediting the healing process after injury has occurred as well as stress and tension relief.

Starla was nice but seemed rather unprofessional. She was late to my appointment because she was getting lunch. She didn't know my name and didn't even seem to be aware she had an appointment. For the first few minutes of the massage, she was talking to someone else. I feel like she just wanted to get her work over with so she was rushing. She would have done better if she showed up on time and slowed down a little.
