Meranda Spaulding graduated from The Alaska Institute of Oriental Medicine, Acupuncture, and Massage Therapy school in 2012. Meranda's practice incorporates hot stone, essential oils, and reflexology to create the highest level of relaxation. She is certified in the Aroma Touch Technique through DoTerra which uses reflexology and essential oils to reduce stress and inflammation, bring the body back to homeostasis, and support the immune system. She has found that it has helped her clients in all aspects of their lives, not just muscular. She is also certified in lymphatic drainage massage.
Meranda grew up in California and moved to Alaska in 2010. She absolutely loved it here and decided to become a massage therapist. She loves the medical field and is currently working towards her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy and certification in Myofascial Release Therapy. On a personal note, one of the things she loves about Alaska is its outdoor activities. So, in the summer time she takes her dog hiking, running, and biking. Meranda wouldn't be able to live without her weekly yoga class to re-balance her. In the winter she likes to snowshoe, snowboard, and even hike.
