Chair Massage

I participated in an onsite massage event at the Marine Corps. Marathon in Arlington, Virginia in Oct, 2009. Provided post-event massage on the marathon runners, as well as some stretching and joint mobilization techniques. I also was a participant in setting the Guinness World Record for The Most People Being Massaged Simultaneously in One Location (I was one of 167 massage therapists who participated). ZestFest is a ten day event in Oct 2011 in Washington DC, bringing life and activity to the NoMa neighborhood with art, music and community gatherings. The NoMa Business Improvement District, partnering with the Pink Line Project, is organizing the fall festival to activate and beautify NoMa’s public spaces. Provided chair massages to the guests of the event. Every year, Aura Spa partners with Thrive DC, a community outlet to help end homelessness! Thrive DC provides meals, laundry and shower facilities for the less fortunate in our area. Aura Spa also hosts their annual 5K run that all the proceeds go to Thrive DC. I provided chair massages in Aug. 2017for the women in the Thrive DC program, along with other massage therapists from Aura Spa. Facials were also provided by the Estheticians from Aura Spa, giving them a well-rounded spa experience.
