Karen Blaisdell-Thomas has 20 years of massage therapy experience in the medical field and specializes in TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) patients and repetitive injury for in-home care.  She trained and worked for an integrative therapy company when she first graduated in 2003 for 3 years, before moving on to Henry Ford Hospital Macomb hospital.  While at Henry Ford Macomb, she utilized her extensive knowledge of medical modalities for treatment in both inpatient and outpatient care, as well as research development for 10+ years.  Karen also began working as an independent contractor at a wellness center (2014) in conjunction with the hospital, where she specialized in TBI (traumatic brain injury) and repetitive injuries.  Now retired from Henry Ford, she has formed KBT Pain Management and Recovery, LLC to work exclusively with TBI and chronic injury through auto and workers comp.  Karen has continued her education in medical modalities and has built a vast toolbox to deal with symptom relief and greater quality of life.
