Melisa sees herself as a partner who helps facilitate your healing by offering a holistic approach.  She offers acupuncture, Advanced Allergy Therapeutics (AAT) allergy and sensitivity clearing techniques, massage/tuina, cupping, moxibustion, detoxification techniques, essential oils, as well as nutrition/food choices and relaxation techniques. Melisa has studied a wide variety of healing modalities and incorporates these into your session to create a customized treatment that best suits your needs. Ms. Skyrm has a Masters in Acupuncture (2002) and also completed massage school during her first year of acupuncture school.  She studied acupuncture in Seattle, Washington and had the opportunity to be involved in an integrative approach to medicine.  She worked at highly recognized institutions, including Harborview Medical Center, Providence Mount St Vincents, and the Country Doctor clinic that was funded by the Ryan White foundation.
