My name is Tara. I am a Certified Medical Massage Therapist and DoTERRA Wellness Advocate. I have a fascination for the human body and its ability to heal itself. With that being said, my decision to become a body worker was easy. Through massage I could help people with their pain, stress, flexibility levels and so much more. I researched the best schools and chose to attend the Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado. I graduated in August of 2007. The program included instruction in anatomy and physiology, pathology of massage, and modalities of swedish, deep tissue, trigger point, and neuromuscular therapy. I was also introduced to prenatal massage, joint range of motion, motion palpation, myofascial therapy, reflexotherapy, and kinesiology. In 2016 I completed a 100 Hour Medical Massage Certification Program with Health Matters Seminars. I now specialize in soft tissue rehabilitation and injury prevention. I believe it is important to continue my education so that I am able to further my skill set and create a unique treatment plan for each client. As a DoTERRA Wellness Advocate I use essential oils to assist my clients with their individual health goals. I love spending time with my husband and our 2 active boys! I enjoy physical fitness, eating clean, and practicing yoga.
