In 2011, I decided I wanted to venture out into a new career. I wanted to help others with their health in some way. With the guidance of God, I landed on massage, back when the Yellow Pages were still in use.  I had always had a soft spot for massaging friends shoulders and scalp. I thought, "Why not become trained to do something I enjoy?" During school, I became aware within the 2nd week, of the talent I didn't realize I had. Teachers raved, that its not often for students to develop a sense of emotional safety net with clients. It was a rarity I was proud to continue to develop. After graduating at the top of my class in November of 2011, I went on to become certified thru the state of California. I am a Certified Massage Therapist, certified by the California Massage Therapy Council (CAMTC.org).  I am also a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA). I have grown committed to supporting people of all walks of life, to eliminate Acute and Chronic pain using medical massage techniques. Massage to me, is no longer a pampering treat. But an essential part of our health and wellness. I truly enjoy feeling strands of muscles, and feeling the release of connective tissue that has been stiff and creating pain issues for me clients. It is such a joy to see and hear the relief clients feel during treatment, and after. I look forward to providing my clients with the best medical massage therapy I can provide.

This was my first experience having a lymphatic massage. I had cosmetic surgery on my face and my surgeon suggested it would help wirh my healing journey. I feel so blessed that I found Christina Alvarez. I had the best experience. She was so skilled and my experience was amazing. I am going to continue these treatments through my Facial healing process . I felt so comfortable and relaxed...I can't wait to see her again next week.

I received a post-op lymphatic drainage massage by Christina and felt like I was in very capable hands. She is very professional, knowledgeable and patient with all the questions I had. I felt relieved to know the areas of concern were not only normal, but easily addressed. I left feeling relaxed and very much taken care of. I would highly recommend Christina for all the services she has to offer. I'm looking forward to my next session.

Christina has magic hands! I didn’t know what to expect coming into my appointment, but I left feeling like a new person, and I still feel the effects days later. She was informative, incredibly warm, kind, welcoming, gentle, and educated me on things to do to alleviate my issues at home moving forward. I learned so much from her in a short window and have been implementing what she taught me in my daily routine. Highly, highly recommend!
