Melissa has been a licensed massage therapist in the state of Washington since 2009. She attended Everest College in Vancouver, WA and graduated with honors. She started off working for a chiropractor to get a feel for the industry in 2013 after working in an office doing administrative work for 13 years and decided that opening a business was the best route for her. She is certified in hot stone, deep tissue, treatment work, and medical massage therapy. When she isn't working she enjoys spending time with her husband and her 2 dogs and, cat. She has 2 boys college age that live near and visit often. She also enjoys working out at home doing CrossFit type workouts and is experienced in treating patients with pains and immobility relating to this type of exercise which helps her to understand how the body reacts to intense physical activity and how massage can help with muscle recovery.
