Daily living can really take a toll on our bodies. Bodies that were designed to move, but spend a lot of time sitting, tend to bind up, making movement more difficult and sometimes painful. Bodies that are moving, but have perhaps been injured in the past, like to tie knots, too.
Using a combination of techniques I have learned through formal continuing education, as well as through my 8 years of experience, I work with your muscles to loosen those knots, making it easier for those muscles to move and let go of tension.
My massage has been described as effective and deeply relaxing. Massage can help with headaches, sleep issues, energy, focus, and stress.

Massage Therapy Certification
After having an introductory course in Shamanic Healing from Frank Coppetiers during my initial massage therapy training, then experiencing some healing sessions from other practitioners, I knew I wanted to dive deeper into this method of healing. Over the course of several months, I trained under a local shamanic healer in techniques such as power animal retrieval, soul retrieval, psychic surgery, and etheric body clearing. Although I may not incorporate specific shamanic methods in my therapeutic massage sessions (unless requested), it has increased my mindfulness and awareness in all of my sessions.
In 2014, after building basic running skills over the course of a year, I trained for and finished the Vancouver USA Marathon. I was proud to support and be a part of my community marathon, and I gained incredible insight into the massage needs of runners.
