Katherine Mendoza MASSAGE & BODYWORK DEPTARTMENT I was born and raised in California and studied massage at the Calistoga Massage Therapy School. I received my certification in 1996. In 1999, after working in a Spa in Calistoga, I moved to the Dominican Republic. There I was able to start my own business, Phoenix Health Spa. I created, with my experiences, my own personal technique of massage and bodywork. During my time in The Dominican Republic I also attended Neijing Institute where I studied Traditional Chinese Medicine. I graduated in Acupuncture and Energy Massage in 2003. I have recently had the opportunity to join the group of outstanding professionals at Tawil Physical Therapy and Sports Performance and create their Massage & Bodywork Department here.

This is a genuine body corrective experience. Most massage experiences are a great full body relaxing experience. You get that here but also walk away feeling healed. Katherine Mendoza is definitely a pain removing massage therapist.

Katherine always knows what to do when you tell her what you are experiencing, and often times will be able to tell if something is wrong even if you don't tell her about it. There have been many times where I ask to focus on one thing and she will do that, only to find other issues elsewhere I did not even notice due to being preoccupied with the former. She is a very experienced masseuse.
