I was always attracted to the world of healing and therapy.  I became an Occupational Therapy Assistant in 1995.  It was then I took a continuing education class from John F. Barnes for Myofascial Release.  I fell in love with Myofascial Release and eventually decided to go back to school to become a Massage Therapist so that I could actually perform Myofascial Release.  I have been doing Massage for 13 years.

I truly believe in the work I do.  I use several techniques and modalities to address the things that are going on with each individual.  I do not do cookie cutter massage.  Each treatment is therapeutic and designed to help you heal.  Modalities include:  John F. Barnes Myofascial Release, Therapeutic Massage & Cranial Sacral Therapy.

I have attended classes for Cranial Sacral Therapy. I enjoy this work, it is so powerful in helping restore balance to all systems.

Occupational Therapy Assistant

I was an Occupational Therapy Assistant before becoming a Massage Therapist. I worked in many areas including: In-patient Rehab, Out-patient Rehab, and in a Skilled Nursing Facility. I frequently integrate techniques I learned as an OTA into my Therapeutic Massage.

I know my body needs the fascia massage but sometimes it's relaxing to my entire being to have an all over massage. I think it takes time for a therapist to know what your body needs . I think I need to zone out more during the massage . Areas for improvement would be massaging face and scalp as well
