Greetings,
I provide Comfort Touch for infants to the elderly as an alternative to typical massage modalities.
I trained under Mary Kathleen Rose who founded the technique of Comfort Touch for the Elderly and Ill, as part of my training at Boulder College of Massage Therapy. At BCMT I graduated with over 1000 hours of training as a Certified Massage Therapist. I also did training in Infant and Pediatric Massage, did a hospital internship for Cancer and Cardiac patients. I have training in Craniosacral Therapy I, Lymph Drainage, and Reflexology. I have training in Shiatsu, Swedish, Integrative, Neuromuscular Soft Tissue & Kinesiology, plus Spa Massage. I do not have an Arizona State Massage License yet because I currently only wish to do Comfort Touch.
I have experience with learning basic American Sign Language. Both of my children have Autism and Comfort Touch has been helpful for them. I've worked in day cares and a Montessori school as an assistant for Infants through 12 grade. I am currently working on a certification in Autism and will pursue a certificate training as a Doula to the dying to support those in hospice care. Thanks for considering me. Peace and Love
