Thyme To Heal was established in 2015. Lauren, the owner of Thyme To Heal is a graduate of Miami Jacobs Career College of Dayton,OH. with an associate’s degree in Medical Massage Therapy and is licensed by the Ohio State Medical Board. Lauren has been in practice since 2007, she enjoyed practicing at Harmony Farm Wellness Center in Tipp City for 8 years and at the Dayton Racquet Club for 5 years helping athletes recover. Her passion has always been to help people. In September of 2015 Lauren started her independent practice in Troy, Ohio called Thyme To Heal Wellness Center. The name has meaning, we all need time to heal and I love essential oils and that is where "Thyme" the herb came into play. Thyme To Heal has grown since 2015. We became a large healing center encompassing a team of talented therapists offering holistic therapies with plenty of space and rooms to offer healing to our community. Lauren has taken and currently is taking, numerous education seminars. The human body is a never ending puzzle. At Thyme To Heal Massage & Wellness Center Lauren continues her passion for massage therapy, teaching and business management.

In 2019 Lauren became a Barefoot Ashiatsu practitioner, as a Massage Therapist of 17years I found out the importance of self care and I was looking for a way to extend my career for many more years to come. 90% of my clientele required therapeutic deep tissue work. By using another tool (my feet) Ashiatsu Massage became a way to extend my career and provide clientele great results.

In late 2019 Lauren obtained her NCBMT becoming a National Certified Teacher for Ashiatsu. Massage has been my lifelong passion and I want to share it with others. As an LMT, we make a huge difference in people's lives whether it be stress or pain management we are needed in this world. I absolutely love teaching. My favorite part is the comradery and the AHAAAAA moment when you see the information click with the students. I enjoy being of assistance and teaching others a new modality that can enrich their career. It is great seeing their excitement to learn and apply therapy to help others.  
 

Lauren's Prior studies and her one true calling was Erik Dalton’s Myoskeletal Alignment Therapy(Realigning the Skeleton through muscular work). In 2012 she studied under Erik Dalton in Costa Rica(30 HR CE), In 2013 attended a Texas seminar(24 HR CE) and in 2015 attended a Oklahoma (24 HR CE) seminar.
