To achieve my Board Certification, I provided proof of a minimum of 750 hours of education, 250 hours of professional, hands-on work experience, passed a criminal background check, agreed to uphold NCBTMB'sStandards of Practice and Code of Ethics, and passed the Board Certification Exam. By passing the BCETMBand meeting all requirements, I demonstrate advanced assessment and critical thinking skills, as well as a commitment to excellence. I wear the credentials BCTMBwith pride for myself, my profession, and, most importantly, my clients.
I am also a Certified Medical Exercise Specialist and have my certification thru the American Council in Exercise (ACE) with over 2 decades of experience in rehabilitating , strength training and conditioning a variety of musculoskeletal injuries, cardio vascular and pulmonary pathology.
Being very familiar with the cycle and nature of pain as a Certified Medical Exercise Specialist, I specialize in pain management and is licensed in Michigan and national board certified in Massage Therapy thru NBCTMB.
Thru continuing education, I have learned modalities in MyofacialRelease (MFR1- Dr. John Barnes) , Cupping (ICTA), Lymphatic Drainage Technique, Cranial Sacral, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, and Pre Natal massage.
