I absolutely LOVE what I do!!!  I am quirky and fun, wild and adventurous, I am a Loving Mother and Wife but most of all I am a Healer!

Massage is not a Job to me it is a passion, to able to be a part of your life and make an impact on your healing gives me purpose in this world,  I light up whenever someone tells me how I have impacted them and changed their view on health and wellness.

I have practiced Massage since 2009, having graduated from UCMT salt lake campus from the Professional and Masters program. I was then able to participate in an internship with The WhIP (Wheels to Ice Program) assisting in the transition of US Speed Skaters coming from roller sports.  I was able to get further in depth experience with athletes and the chronic injuries that occur with overuse of a isolated muscles. I was able to transition this knowledge to the everyday injuries when I began a job at a local chiropractic clinic working with Dr. Matthew Peterson. He was a crucial part of my career in giving me the opportunity to see how clients grow and change through regular treatment plans. Dr. Peterson allowed me to work in tandem with him on client cases helping be a crucial part of their recovery process.

After 2 amazing years of working closely with Dr. Peterson he took his practice to salt lake,  I had then decided it was time to branch out on my own and build my private practice.  I have had the pleasure of being in business for myself since 2012 and have built strong relationships with my clients.  My hopes for the future are that everyone one day will have access to, and knowledge of, amazing Massage therapy techniques. And will know and understand the benefit of a regular massage routine. I always tell my clients, "Massage is like the oil change for your engine, you wouldn't keep driving your car without proper maintenance, so why would push your body without regular Massage?"

I Look forward to serving you and hope that you can come and learn from me!

Intern WhIP

While attending UCMT I was selected to participate in an internship working with Athletes in the WhIP (Wheels to Ice Program) which is roller athletes converting to Olympic Speed Skaters, in the internship I was able to work closely with many athletes and hone in my Injury and Recovery Massage skills. This really sparked quite a passion in me when I saw what Massage could do with the athletic body. This sparked a passion within me to work towards helping non athletic and athletic individuals alike to gain a healthier perspective for their bodies and lifestyles through Massage.

Chiropractic office

I worked within Tooele Chiropractic wit Dr. Matthew Peterson D.C. for over two years. While working with him I was able see results within our clinic of how Chiropractic and Massage can work together to facilitate healing in people's lives.

Private Practice

Sports and Injury Massage of Tooele, named as such so that you know exactly what to expect from your time spent here, I wanted the freedom to help my clients with injuries that sometimes get overlooked as just every day wear and tear of the working class, I was determined to spread the word that any injuries; be it from overuse in the workforce, sitting too long in an office chair, or even from holding a child on your hip day in and day out causing chronic low back pain. All of these wide varieties of issues we see in everyday people are in fact Injuries, and I wanted to make sure people understood that there were techniques out there to help aid them in their recovery. Lea loves to help with various injuries from; post OP recovery, to preventative aid in breaking up scar tissue, lessening the affects of chronic inflammatory responses, lengthening shortened tissues to create less tension on joints, increasing blood flow to ischemic areas. We have helped people from small infants to the the Elderly, we help improve quality of life by releasing tension and helping your body heal, we do so much it really is hard to list it all, along with the amazing techniques performed in the massage room I believe educating clients is where the real difference is made, if you are being treated for an issue, the work does not stop after the massage, I take the time to teach you about possible causes for the issue in the first place. We go over how to better your health through changes in your daily posture, we will also teach you stretches and give you recommendations for daily exercises to help improve your posture. Here at Sports and Injury Massage of Tooele I will do all that I can to go above and beyond your expectation of what a Massage Practice should be. I would love to have your business please schedule with me and you’ll wonder why you have waited so long to put your health and wellness first in your life!

Lea is amazing my pain is significantly improved and I am so relaxed when I leave. My son who is a Student Athlete Baseball Player has been to over 2 dozen massage therapist across the country from Utah to North Carolina and he is still in search of a massage therapist as skilled as Lea . I fact he had a massage today and called me disappointed again wishing he was here in Utah to get a massage from Lea.. She is amazing she has worked with him through pain and injuries and wow we can’t say enough. My mother is a caregiver for my dad we sent her to Lea for a massage , and again Lea exceeded my moms expectations. She left relaxed and felt amazing . Definitely 5 stars …
