Janelle is amazing; she is the only person I trust to provide the care I need. Each month I pay her a visit so that she can purge the impurities from my mortal body. This earthly vessel, a pale and quivering hulk of flesh and sinew glistening with the sweat of insatiable greed, catches up sundry crusts of gluttony and avarice as a child's palm, sticky with the remains of their last sweet-- already forgotten-- becomes gritty with soil and the shed hairs of beasts as they grope, whining, for another distraction from the suffering that is wanting, a suffering to which they are but new. Soon they, as I, will grow sallow and sullen, glimpsing the beauty beyond my grasping hands only seldom, and only with the consummate professionalism of Janelle, who uses her years of experience and training to treat ailments like carpal tunnel, pain and stiffness from TMJ, and lower back pain. Friendly and cheerful, she's a soothing presence in a world otherwise dark with the stain of lies and fear.
