Hood to Coast - Finish Line LMT

Served as a Licensed Massage Therapist at the finish line of the Hood to Coast Relay - September 2017 - in the Alaska Airlines courtesy tent. Offered ten-minute massages and assisted stretching techniques to athletes and their care teams throughout the day.

Panel Speaker at SAKI 2017

I joined two other Oregon LMT's in a presentation on "Self Care for the Caregiver" at the Sexual Assault Kits Initiative conference hosted by the Portland Police Bureau in October 2017. My portion of the presentation began with my own music, led caregivers through a guided meditation and gave self-care tips for the nurturing and renewal of our spirits when we are caring for others. Our panel received high reviews and praise for holistic care and awareness.
