*** ON MATERNITY LEAVE until Mid-Late 2016***
I began my career as a massage therapist in 2006 after graduating from Brenneke School of Massage, where I learned traditional Swedish massage, anatomy, physiology, kinesiology and treatment work. My continuing education has focused on studying Lomilomi, Hawai’ian heart centered massage. My Lomi journey started in childhood, while living in Hawai’i, I had the opportunity to study hula with a Kumu Hula (a master dancer). Through this journey I learned about Hawai’ian traditions which led me to take my first Lomi class. I have been studying and practicing Lomi ever since. I have taken many intensive classes in the Lomi tradition and very excited to share this gift of Lomi to Westlake Village.
Other modalities that inspire me are Trigger Point Therapy; Anatomy Trains, their myofascial meridians and how they affect fascial patterning; Chinese traditional meridians and Reiki.
