I am a Registered Nurse practicing as an independent Massage Therapist in San Antonio, Texas and the surrounding areas. I have been in private practice since June 1999 to the present. From June of 1999 to October 2011, I provided massage therapy services to military and civilian personnel and their dependents. During that time, I also worked for a non-profit organization providing Manual Lymph Drainage and Complex Decongestive Physiotherapy (lymphedema bandaging) for women with cancer. Currently, I have two offices (one in San Antonio and the other in Somerset), as well as provide therapeutic massage to the United States Wounded Military through Returning Heroes Home and the Wounded Warrior Program at SAMMC. I incorporate numerous techniques, i.e., Postural Balancing, Myoskeletal Alignment, Myofascial Release, Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, NeuroMuscular Therapy, CranioSacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation, Lymph Drainage, and Kinesio Taping, as needed during massage sessions to provide my clients relief from chronic pain related to their postural habits, injuries/traumas/surgeries, and any other issues that they may be experiencing due to everyday physical and emotional stressors. I am a Certified CranioSacral Therapist and am currently continuing my education in Visceral Manipulation with the goal of becoming a Certified Practitioner. I volunteer as a Teaching Assistant for CranioSacral, Lymph Drainage, and Visceral Manipulation curriculums through the International Alliance of Healthcare Educators. Throughout the year, I attend numerous seminars to continue to improve my skills so that I may provide the best possible services for my clients.
