Cindy Byer, is a Licensed Massage Therapist with over 20 years experience specializing in Bodywork, structural integration and human movement. Cindy is recognized within the Athletic and Medical community as the "Place to Go" for bodywork in post-rehabilitation, pain management, and sports performance/conditioning for recreational and professional athletes as well as those suffering from chronic pain or special conditions including scoliosis, cerebral palsy, MS, and Fibromyalgia.  Her revolutionary technique in bodywork integrates an anatomically focused approach to movement with strategically chosen massage techniques including Trigger Point, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release and contemporary Thai Massage, to correct postural alignment, improve efficiency of movement, increase muscle strength, and mobility and improve quality of life for her clients.

In addition to being a Licensed Massage Therapist, she holds a BS in Nutrition, and an MBA; she also holds certifications in Pilates through the Pilates Method Alliance and STOTT Pilates.  Cindy is a Master Course Instructor for Pilates Academy International where she teaches courses in applied anatomy, biomechanics, and posture analysis, and trains individuals seeking out instructor certification and/or continuing education in Pilates, or bodywork.  

Cindy is also a highly sought after public speaker for injury prevention, restorative exercise, functional fitness, and holistic methods for pain reduction, structural integration, and performance improvement through the coupling of exercise and massage techniques. Her experience includes a weekly television and radio segment as the Health and Fitness Expert in New York and lecturing at various health and wellness conferences and offering courses and hands on training for continuing education.  

In addition to her prestigious experience in Bodywork, Massage and Pilates, Cindy's outside activities include, 8 years as a member of the School Health Advisory Committee for Conroe ISD where she played an instrumental role in helping the district develop and monitor programs to increase awareness of healthy lifestyles with children within the community; event management with The Woodlands Marathon; and is an active member of The Woodlands Running Club, USA Triathlon, ABMP, and PMA.
