I was inspired to become a Massage Therapist after years of hard labor working as a cook/baker in the restaurant business. Seeking relief from the physical pain suffered from long hours working on hard floors under great stress I sought and found healing from the tender mercies of a local massage therapist. Deciding to feed my own soul, I attended the International Professional School of Bodywork in 1994 in San Diego. Desiring further education more focused on specific injuries and pathologies as well as movement and exercise, I attended the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Idaho State University graduating in 1999. Through the knowledge gained from both fields and years of experience, I have developed a nurturing skill set derived from an eclectic array of techniques: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release and specific orthopedic injury rehab that can be both broad and very specific. I am a Certified Kinesiotape Practitioner as well as an Idaho licensed Massage Therapist and Physical Therapist Assistant. I believe that each session is a collaborative effort between my client and myself for the most effective and satisfying experience.
