Clinical experience

I have been in practice in the Tacoma area since 2010. I am licensed by the Washington State Department of Health and board-certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). In addition, I am certified as an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist with the National Acupuncture and Detoxification Association (NADA) to assist with drug, alcohol and smoking addictions. My areas of clinical interest include but are not limited to all types of pain, fatigue, and stress; women’s health including menstrual irregularities, PMS, hot flashes, mood swings, and sleep disturbances; digestive and urinary disorders, and depression. To broaden my skills I have taken continuing education that includes but is not limited to the treatment of infertility, using electrical stimulation to treat pain, advanced cupping therapy and trigger point therapy. I am also Level 2 Healing Touch Practitioner and enjoy using gemstones and essential oils when appropriate in my treatments.
