Duane began practicing massage/bodywork therapy after a lengthy career as an Emergency Medical Technician. From experiencing the benefits of massage therapy treatment for his own work related injuries and stress, Duane was inspired. He attended Ashmead School of Massage graduating in 2006 and made shift into rehabilitative bodywork therapy. Since then Duane has enjoyed the humble privilege of working with some amazing human beings and strong spirits, that are his clients and patients, to achieve more pain-free and mobile lives. Incorporating the importance of movement and stretching into his technique, Duane combines multiple rehabilitative bodywork and massage therapies to provide the most optimal treatment outcome to each of his clients and patients. Deep tissue, Trigger Point, Manual Ligament Therapy and Cupping are only a few of the techniques Duane is well trained in and practices regularly. When Duane is not working in the office you may find him at a finish line of a local marathon working on deserving athletes or traveling around the country with the USC Trojan Swim Team at various championship events. Most importantly, when Duane is not working he is with beautiful family either traveling or hiking or fishing or biking or just hanging out enjoying bubble tea or pho or chicken adobo and always with their dog, Koa Duane is credentialed as a preferred provider with most major insurance companies. Appreciate the time Duane spent getting to know me before the massage.

Duane is very personable and took the time to go over my issues and during my treatment explained what he was doing and gave me pointers on what I can do to keep my ligaments loose. He is awesome at ligament therapy and highly recommend.

Duane manages to zero in on the trouble spots so quickly. Recently I’ve had pain L side of neck which he found was overcompensating for something on the right side of neck & shoulder. Ligament therapy has repeatedly been effective for me.

Finally! A bodyworker who actually starts fixing the underlying problem instead of just helping you relax.

Very knowledgable staff! Duane was able to really break down how different muscle groups work and what is going on in different area. Great insights and recommendations for post session care as well.

Duane is sensitive and skilled. He really understands anatomy combined with a great intuitive ability to work the right areas.

my best massage experiences are where the masseuse has their hands on me for most of the hour. I like when all areas of the body are given a once over, including toes, feet hands, and fingers. I enjoys a mixture of relaxing motions and deeper work in areas that need it.
