I started my journey towards a Certified Massage Therapist, as a early as I can remember. I was always, and still to this day, wanting to help people feel loved, and cared for.  As a young adult, I dabbled in the nursing field and became a Certified Nursing Assistant. I loved the caring aspect of the job but there was something missing.
I decided to go back to school. I took courses in criminal justice and psychology. Although both courses were extremely interesting and I learned a lot, again I was still searching for a career I had passion for. After a few more years of life, different jobs and a little growing up,  I again decided to continue my search. I came across a program for Massage Therapist and Health Educator.  I began my program and knew right away this could be something I could love. I was so amazed with the knowlege, skill and confidence this program provided. I did not just graduate with a certificate of completion but with an understanding about our bodies, how they work, and what I can do to help relieve stress, pain and tension. I also finally found my passion!!

Jennifer locates and identifies those sore, knotted muscles during the massage. She rubs out the knots. Then when finished with the massage, before I leave, she explains what she found, where it was, the name of the muscle and grouping that contributes to those knots. She will recommend movements to help continue recovery.

Jennifer ALWAYS listens and addresses the needs with the proper therapy with a caution to not do "damage". Amazing level of knowledge about the human anatomy and muscle structure. And if she has any doubt she does the required research.
