I graduated from Michigan State University in 2003 with a degree in Kinesiology. I began my career as a Massage Therapist in 2006 and enjoy increasing the functional abilities of others while decreasing their pain. I love the human body and how it works so educating people on and helping them manage their injuries is my passion. I also have experience as a Fitness Specialist and Anatomy and Physiology Instructor.
I have integrated my knowledge in the areas of health, fitness, wellness, chronic pain and wholistic healing, and opened my own business to assist others in their path to rehabilitation and healing.
My techniques and practice are centered on the belief that the body can heal itself if given the right opportunity. I offer an array of treatments ranging from Relaxation to Deep Tissue and Repetitive Use Injury to Wholistic Manual Medicine and Cupping Therapy. You can even experience Raindrop Therapy which uses 9 essential oils along the spine to reduce nerve impingement and disc compression. All to help you find balance for your mind, body and spirit.
I am also certified to treat for Workman's Compensation and have experience working with chronic pain, injuries and spinal surgeries since 2009. I believe much of our physical pain is also a reflection of the spiritual, mental and emotional trauma we have experienced throughout our lives.

I taught Anatomy and Physiology for those who want to be massage therapists 2007-2012. I wrote the curriculum for the Personal Training Program at Stautzenberger College and taught many of those classes as they were being built.
I managed the fitness center at the Toledo Machining Plant in Perrysburg Ohio from 2003 to 2007 where I specialized in prescribing fitness and nutrition plans for middle-aged factory/line workers.
I have specialized in chronic pain since 2009 working with people who have been injured on the job. I was part of an interdisciplinary treatment team at StressCare Behavioral Health in which we helped injured workers cope with, and understand their pain. Realizing that there is more to pain than just the physical trauma.
Wholistic Manual Medicine is a therapy method coined by an Osteopathic Doctor in Monroe Michigan, Dr. Keith Barbour. He has found that assisting/guiding the tissues to the release point produces more permanent benefits for us (as clients) compared to forcing the release on the body. If the tissues are forced into submission they often go back to the position they are most familiar with, therefore, we end up with recurring problems. However, when the body "decides" or is ready to release then we are forever relieved of that issue! I was certified in his core curriculum October of 2013, completed the advanced level training courses in 2015 and assisted him in his work regularly from 2014-2020.
October 2020 I completed the certification program through the International Cupping Therapy Association (ICTA) allowing me to employ the use of suction cups to lift and pull tissues to release tension, stress and disfunction.
