Caryn Cooney, LMT is an award winning massage therapist recognized by the Summerville Journal's Reader's Choice award two years in a row for massage services.  She is licensed by two states: the Ohio Medical Board since 1998 and South Carolina since 2008.  Caryn graduated from the National Institute of Massotherapy in Akron, OH and has completed hundreds of hours in advanced postgraduate courses and additional certification to refine her skills in order to obtain the results you desire to achieve.  No matter what the issues you face, she is able to get you back to good health and comfortable, pain-fee living.   Caryn developed a hospital based massage practice were she had a full time practice for many years and became highly sought out for her skills and abilities.  Her specialty is pain management and medical massage but has been highly praised for her wellness services as well. 

In addition to her practice, Caryn became involved with educating future massage therapists and has also authored massage material for Pearson Publishing Company.   She joined the Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation as a Peer Reviewer performing on-site massage school visits. Recently, she completed a massage pilot program for both Trident and Summerville Medical Center providing inpatient massage services.  Caryn's love for learning continues as she works towards obtaining certification as an aroma therapist.  She truly enjoys facilitating your personal health goals towards wellness and strongly believes in massage as a viable modality for enhancing overall health and well-being.
