I believe that when we feel good in our bodies we have the ability to live the life we intend and deserve to be living. I have found that the many techniques of massage therapy have helped me to achieve that place in my life and it is my great joy to help others to find it too. I graduated from Massage Academy of the Poconos in January of 2007. Since then I have taken many classes and continue to do so each year. I choose classes that teach me how to help the body heal areas of injury and dysfunction while allowing the nervous system to deactivate the "fight or flight" mode where we all tend to live. This allows us to spend more time in "rest and digest" mode where we do our best healing, thinking and living. Some of the classes I have taken include, Spinal Reflex Analysis, releasing the rotator cuff, relieving sciatica pain, reducing neck pain and headache as well as Reiki. There is no cookie cutter approach to treatment. Every person is different. Every session is different. My goal in each session is to help you achieve your goals. Whether your goal is to reduce pain or dysfunction, be more active or just have some time and space for yourself, I am happy to help you achieve it. I look forward to helping you enjoy living your life in a body that feels good.
