Shirl has been a Licensed Massage Therapist for over 17 years focusing her work on helping people heal from injuries of all kinds including but not limited to; stress and pain relief and management, injury recovery and prevention.
After a loved one suffered a series of strokes, Shirl quickly realized how powerful the nature of healing touch really was first hand and after some research made the decision to attend The New Hampshire Institute of Therapeutic Arts in 1999. She has been developing her skills and helping those in need ever since. An athlete all her life and having had several whiplashes, Shirl understands the complexity of pain and injury including how it can take a toll not only on the body but the mind and spirit of an individual. Believing highly in ones abilities to heal themselves through guidance and the mind body connection, Shirl utilizes a multitude of modalities in her massage sessions to help people recover and heal themselves through breath and self awareness, Trigger Point therapy, Neuromuscular Therapy, joint manipulation, manual Lymphatic Drainage, Circulatory Massage, Sports Massage, Deep Tissue Therapy, Stretching, Aromatherapy and Relaxation Therapies. 
Shirl is working every year towards adding new therapies to her already extensive background.
