I feel it empowers an individual to seek their balance and transformation. I beleive we are at a cusp in which integration of traditional medicine and alternative medicine will be inevitable. Massage therapy is on the forefront of such a movement with tremendous scientific research on the tangible benefits of massage therapy. So in my opinion there's no better time to immerse myself in a career that supports respect, compassion and health in such a simple gesture as TOUCH.
