Most approaches to healthy eating are based on fad diets & misinformation. Instead of focusing on restricting & depriving, I coach my clients to explore basic improvements and implement gradual changes during our work together. As these pieces accumulate, clients find these changes collectively creating a much larger impact than they originally anticipated. We'll work on what YOU want to improve within the circumstances of YOUR unique situation
Certified Health Coach
Duties: Coaching clients, meal planning & weekly weigh ins, motivational care/ checkup calls, maintaining the appointment book; brainstorming, designing & creating new contests and healthy in center activities for clients to engage in, creating client files, keeping record of measurements, before & after photos, as well as weight loss progress. Skills: I was able to put the skills I’ve acquired from previous work experiences in to action. The biggest skill I utilized was listening. By making the most out of thought provoking, open ended questions and engaging in active listening, I was better able to support and help my clients more effectively. Thus, allowing me the ability to customize and tailor each of my weekly plans to suit each unique individual. Jenny Craig helped me discover my true passion for helping others succeed and accomplish their goals. The sense of happiness & pride I feel when seeing my clients succeed is immeasurable. This position not only allowed me to help others, but also opened an avenue of personal growth within myself. My experience here has lead me to further my education as a certified health coach, as well as create an online presence to inspire others as a wellness blogger.
