I studied Myomassology at Irene's Myomassology Institute in Southfield, MI. While at Irene's I learned various techniques to help clients with different needs. I learned techniques ranging from your basic Swedish massage to range of motion therapeutic movements. Also learned how to treat the body from the inside and out with the use of nutrition or energy to doing body wraps and scrubs. I studied Cosmetology at Douglas J AVEDA Institute in Royal Oak, MI. My education at Douglas J included a wide range of skills from hair to skin to nails. I enjoyed learning haircolor and how to do a vichy shower treatment. I found one thing I would like to know more about is razor cutting. I also received an Associates Degree in Cosmetology Managment at Oakland Community College in Waterford, MI. I feel that everyone needs to relax and take sometime for themselves but may not want to drive around looking for the perfect place, when most times their home is that place. I got started in the massage industry due to my experience given to me by my massage therapist. Yes even massage therapists need massage therapists as well. I noticed a big difference in myself when I started getting regular massage, I felt like I had more energy, and was not getting sick as often. I am an amusement park fanatic, my favorite ride is the Sheikra at Busch Gardens in Tampa, FL. Along with amusement parks my other summer time favorite thing to do is camping and being one with nature. The great outdoors to me is like having a massage, it is just so relaxing! In my spare time I like to draw and decorate houses. When I am drawing you can guarantee that the TV is tuned to some sort of channel that does design or decorating. I tune into my massage creative side thinking of new treatments that I can offer, and things that people can use at home that are organic or Eco-friendly.
