Massage therapy is manual manipulation of soft body tissues (muscle, connective tissue, tendons and ligaments) to enhance a person’s health and well-being
Deb grew up in St. Ansgar and is very excited about offering massage in the community. Her passion is yoga and she has been practicing since 2004 and began teaching yoga in St. Ansgar in 2012. Every time she took a yoga class, she wanted to teach it. Likewise every time she has ever received a massage, she wanted to give one. So this career addition was really about Deb following her passion. She enrolled in the Massage Therapy Program at Riverland College in 2014 and along with many classroom hours she did over 100 Clinical hours, practicing on people from all different walks of life. She enrolled in the Devanadi School of Yoga Teacher Training in 2015 and finished her 200 RYS in 2016. She understands that each individual is different and that ones body will feel different from day to day, so she will work hard to meet the needs of the client at each massage session. She plans to continue to learn more about different massage modalities and about holistic lifestyles in general.
