Rebecca has been a practicing massage therapist since 2009. Immediately after graduating from North Texas School of Swedish Massage, she found herself drawn to those modalities that address the very specific and special needs of anyone who is currently or ever has been in treatment for cancer.  The intent and focus of these "oncology massage" sessions is quite different from a traditional massage.  Feel free to contact Rebecca with questions about what oncology massage entails.  Absolutely everyone can receive massage...one just needs to find a therapist who has the training to know how to tailor the session to your life at this very moment!


Rebecca is also a CMLDT...a Certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist...trained by the Klose School in the Vodder techniques.  This extremely gentle and relaxing technique is not only one of the core components to oncology massage training, but is also highly effective in pre- and post-surgery inflammation management.  It is also one of the few techniques which can be applied almost immediately after an injury, whether from sports activities or just a twisted ankle running for the bus! 

Other continuing ed certifications under her belt include:  reflexology, deep tissue techniques, and the first two levels of CranioSacral Therapy.

When not providing massage therapy for a wide variety of client needs, Rebecca is a professional violinist and enjoys road and mountain cycling with her husband, Steve.
