Barefoot massage has been at the heart of my practice for nearly 20 years. I began with Thai massage, and over time my work has evolved to include silk-assisted barefoot myofascial massage.
At the beginning of my massage education, I started studying Tai Chi. Its principles of balance, relaxation, and efficient body mechanics have shaped the way I work ever since, allowing me to use my whole body rather than relying on strength alone.
I often start with compression as a way of listening to your body before deciding where to go next. I'm paying attention to how your skeleton responds to pressure, how much spring is present through the rib cage, how freely your joints move, and how your body feels as a whole.
From there, the session unfolds based on what I find and what you're experiencing that day. It may include movement and stretching, slow myofascial work, or techniques that encourage circulation and lymphatic flow when the body feels sluggish. Most sessions blend several approaches, but no two are exactly alike.
Rather than following a routine, I let your body guide the session.
