My passion for bodywork began when I was introduced to Neurokinetic Therapy (NKT), an assessment tool that allows one to see concretely the function of muscles. Since then, I have been on a mission to bridge the gap between the mind and body. With Massage Therapy and Emotion Code side by side, NKT has become the glue that bridges it all together and helps my clients see how their stress and mindsets aid or inhibit their physical health. I have founded Winter Bloom Bodywork as a place to expand our NKT community in Springfield, mentor others, and continue to teach our clients about the importance of looking at the whole picture. After becoming a mom and essentially being in hibernation with my little cub, I got a clear message that it was time to bloom once again and Winter was the perfect time to do so! Let us be leaders and burst forth from the frost with blooms vibrant and bold.

I have mentored with many professionals but none so extensively as with Tracy Maxfield, a one-of-a-kind body worker in the Springfield, MO area. For more than a year I shadowed his work and discovered techniques like NKT (Neurokinetic Therapy), PNT (Pain Neutralization Technique), and Emotion Code where I began my practice.

Sports Massage

I have a collected 23.5 hrs of post-event sports massage. -CAF Back to Back Challenge is an amazing 3 day cycling event, in support of challenged athletes, winding through the sunny Sonoma hillsides. I was honored to provide sports massage to athletes after the end of their 50-80 mi rides each day. -Nappa Valley Marathon

Merry knows else she’s doing. She listens to what you want and has the tools and remedy for what you desire. You will not find a better spirit for your therapeutic needs.
