Diane comes to us from the Washington D.C. area where she has had a private practice for the last 28 years. Deep relaxation, maintaining wellness and/or efficient effective pain relief is what her massage therapy is all about – customizing each session for the needs of that moment, whether it be de-stressing, relieving pain, maintaining wellness or a bit of each.
Diane loves massage and believes wholly in its healing benefits – on so many levels (Mind, Body and Spirit). She enjoys the relationship with each client and is honored to be part of their healing journey. She is very intuitive and also researches the science behind “the claims”.
Diane graduated from the Portland (Maine) School of Massage Therapy in 1989 and has accumulated over a thousand hours of continuing education.
Diane's first career was as a singer/pianist. She studied massage to help supplement her music career and soon massage therapy became her new passion. She sees both music and massage as touching people's souls.
Diane has had years of experience and study in Orthopedic and Neuro Muscular Therapy as well as Cranial Sacral and Oncology Massage, and has worked on ages newborn to 98 years. Currently she is working on her certification in Precision Neuro Muscular Therapy.
Other than massage, Diane enjoys playing pickelball, movies, walks with her dog, playing music and spending time with her family and friends.
